The 3rd International Conference by the Xavier School of Communications, Xavier University Bhubaneswar will be held on December 15 and 16 with the theme “Social media and the changing communication environment.”
The keynote speakers Areil C Sebellino, Executive Director of Philippine Press Institute and Dr Sharon Wilson, Assistant Professor from University Tunku Abdul Rahman, Malaysia will be present on the occasion. Sebellino will speak on “The low down of social media” on the first day and on the second day, Prof Wilson will address “WhatsApp with my studentsIJ Mobile learning and interactivity in a virtual space.”
“Out of 120 abstracts received, we have shortlisted 70. On further review, we enrolled 50 full papers. Finally, we selected 48 papers to be presented in the conference,” informed Prof Nadira Khatun, the convenor of the conference and faculty of XCOMM. “All abstracts were checked for plagiarism, and with further review by our committee members we have shortlisted only peer-reviewed papers,” added Prof Khatun.
