literature is the most significant aspect of life that facilitates people to know the philosophy of nature and guides them from one generation to another. And it is possible only because of poets, novelists and feature writers, etc, opined former professor of Shantiniketan Prof Niladree Bhusan Harichandan and noted novelist Paresh Pattanaik at the 17th anniversary of the Chilika Sahitya Samaja held at Balugaon on Sunday.
Writers should not be worried about the criticisms on their writings; rather they should continue writing creative poems, articles, novels, etc, in their own way, the guests advised. Presiding over the event, Sahitya Samaj President Siva Mishra spoke on how Banpur has produced so many writers in world class writings. Educationist Subash Chandra Mohapatra and writer Paresh Pattanayak were felicitated on the occasion.
Among others, Sahitya Samaj Secretary Dr Kailash Chandra Moharana, Editor of’ Bhija Mati Chinmyee Sarangi, poet Sampad Nayak, Prof Sarbeswar Sarangi and Santoshi Panda were present. The guests also unveiled a magazine of the literature body Kallola.
