An Investors’ Awareness Project Workshop, under the direction of the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, was held at the Rajiv Bhavan at Kujang block in Jagatsinghpur district recently. As chief guest, Paradipgarh gram panchayat Sarpanch Sasmita Behera inaugurated the workshop, which was conducted by Paradip Common Service Centre (CSC) In-charge Namita Rout.
A total of 81 small women investors from different villages like Paradipgarh, Nuagada, Rangiagarh and Nimidiha attended the event presided over by advocate Sanjay Kumar Behera. Through such workshops, the Ministry of Corporate Affairs aims at creating awareness among general public to make their savings only in nationalised banks, post offices and insurance Companies to avoid chit fund scams.
