The organisational meeting of the Congress was held in Jharsuguda on Saturday.
"With the miserable performance of Congress all over the State, Jharsuguda district has been an exception where the party has shown an excellent performance as evident from the result of the recently concluded panchayat elections in the district. However, the organisation structure needs to be strengthened more,” said All India Congress Committee(AICC) Observer Dharmendra Yadav to the party workers.
Yadav gave more stress for preparation at grassroots level to get the desired result in the 2019 election. He called upon all the workers to work with dedication and sincerity for the sovereignty, unity and integrity of the nation, defeating the regional parties. He highlighted the role of a general worker in the present scenario. On the occasion, Jharsuguda MlA and District Congress president Naba Das, senior leader Kishore Patel, Pramod Tripathy and Kusasan Jaypuria addressed the gathering, among others.
