A 25-year-old worker was found hanging in Rourkela Steel Plant’s third sintering unit on Tuesday evening.
The Tangarpali police sent the body for autopsy after registering a case of unnatural death on Wednesday. Sources said Fayaz Ansari, a native of Dhanbad, was working as a contractual worker for Hydrocraft Craft Enterprises, a sub contractor of Tata Projects ltd. He was employed at the RSP 25 days ago.
“It seems to be a case of suicide. We are now investigating the case,” said Tangarpali PS IIC Subhendu Kumar Sabar.
