President Ram Nath Kovind on Sunday advised a team of the State BJP to get involved in people’s welfare activities at the grassroots level while opining that a State’s development is possible with growth of its people.
The 30-member team led by State president Basant Panda met the President at Raj Bhavan here at 12 noon and conveyed Indian New Year wishes to him. Kovind discussed various issues relating to Odisha with the BJP leaders during the courtesy call, said a BJP release.
The team comprised former Chief Minister Giridhar Gamang among others.
