A senior official has triggered a controversy for engaging the women teachers of a Government school in the district to clean the school toilet, the picture of which has gone viral on the social media.
The incidence was reported from the Government school at Talajang village under Sadar block on Wednesday.
Reports said Mamata Mishra posted as the Block Education Officer (BEO) in Puri Sadar block asked the women teachers to clean the toilet after she found the school premises dirty during an inspection. Taking her order, the women teachers cleaned the toilet. The photo featuring them holding brooms and buckets went viral on the internet.
