In a highly shocking incident, a headless body of a woman was found inside a toilet of the Gunupur-Puri passenger train at the Puri railway station while the severed head was spotted at the Gandhi Peeth level crossing in Delang area in the district on Wednesday.
According to reports, the headless body was spotted lying in a pool of blood in the toilet by a passenger on Wednesday morning while the train was stationed at Platform No. 8 of the Puri station.
On being informed, the Government Railway Police (GRP) along with a scientific team rushed to the spot and initiated investigation. The identity of the woman was yet to be established.Similarly, locals spotted the severed head lying on railway track near the level crossing. A red bag and a black polythene bag were found near the head.
