The Raghunathpur police recovered the body of a middle-aged woman from the Cuttack-Paradip railway line at Chhapada village on Monday. The deceased was identified as Parvati Muduli of Alabola village in the Balikuda area.
Sources said two days ago the woman had had gone to her parental house at Deuligrameswar village. O Monday afternoon, she left the house telling parents that she was going to her elder sister’s house in the Raghunathpur area. But surprisingly, her body with wounds was found near the railway track at Chhapada. Police suspect the woman had ended life jumping from the train.
“We have started investigation into the incident,” said the Raghunathpur PS IIC.
