In a ghastly incident, unidentified miscreants killed a woman by slitting her throat and looted her of gold ornaments and money at Biswanathpur village Kalahandi district on Monday morning.
According to information, the woman was alone in her house when her husband and other family members away at work places at the time of incident. After killing the woman, miscreants decamped gold and silver ornaments and hard cash.
The police have started investigation into the incident. The incident has sent shockwaves among local residents.
