A woman Maoist on Tuesday surrendered at the office of the Superintendent of Police here in Kalahandi district as she was "disgusted" over the Maoist activities.
Kalamdei Majhi (24), who had joined the banned outfit in October last year, surrendered before Kalahandi SP Brijesh Rai.
The SP said her activities were confined to the Gundi and Khandualmali
Reserve Forest areas. She also complained of harassment of women members by senior cadres, he said, adding that she was being further interrogated.
