The Saheed Nagar police on Tuesday arrested a woman on the charge of duping a job seeker. Murchhana Mohanty (33) was running a placement agency, AB Inissue, at plot number 772 at Saheed Nagar for last few years. She was the proprietor of the agency.
According to the police, one Bikram Barik (26) of Bhutmundai in Jagatsinghpur district on Tuesday lodged a complaint alleging that Murchhana took Rs 25,000 on August 30 assuring him of giving him a job in Arati Steel in Athagarh in Cuttack district.
