A woman fled with her paramour while the funeral of her deceased husband was going on. Such a case has come to the fore here under Rajkanika police station.
One Rangadhar Dash, who was a priest of local Nrusighanath temple of Bhamanda village under Sihopada GP of Rajkanika police station was reported missing on last August 17. This followed a quarrel between Dash and his wife over extramarital affair of the latter with a fellow village youth.
The family members came across the mutilated decomposed body of Rangadhar a few days later. The children and the family members of deceased Rangadhar alleged that Rangadhar was allegedly killed by his wife Ratnamani and her paramour Asit Satapathy.
Notably, Ratnamani was in extramarital affairs with Asit over last four years ,despite the fact that her husband, children and the villagers opposed their relationship.
To the irony, while the funeral of Rangadhar was going on, Ratnamani fled from the house with her paramour leaving her four children aside.
When contacted, Rajkanika police station IIC Bilwamangal Sethy informed that an UD case has been reported. The police were waiting for the autopsy report of the deceased and steps would be taken according to the autopsy report, he added.
