A video showing a woman brutally assaulting her mother-in-law and dragging her on road went viral on social media on Friday.
The incident was reported from the Gaisilat area in Bargarh district where the woman physically assaulted her old mother-in-law reportedly over a family feud.
The video showed that the woman was pulling out her mother-in-law’s legs on the village road and trying to drive her out of their house. Even after request from elderly woman of the locality, the ruthless younger woman did not stop and continued assaulting her.
Ironically, the neighbours and villagers were watching the scene without intervening to help the old woman. They continued to witness the young woman’s torture to her mother-in-law as mute spectators.
