Being unable to bear the agony of her husband’s death, a woman died of heart attack at Maheswarpur village in Jajpur district ON Saturday night.
According to reports, Udaynath Sarangi (62) of the village, who was running a shop in the locality, complained of illness, following which he was taken to the SCB Medical College Hospital in Cuttack for treatment. However, he died of brain stroke at the hospital.
On hearing the news of Udaynath’s death, his wife Ambika (55) suffered a heart attack and died soon.
The two bodies were cremated at the village crematorium. A pall of gloom descended on the area after the tragic incident.
