A woman patient died for want of blood while being treated in the District Headquarters Hospital (DHH) here.
Two days back, Sunil Pandey had admitted his wife in a serious condition in DHH in the lockdown situation. Unfortunately, he could not arrange blood as required. Even, he could not get blood in the exchange scheme also.
With no alternative, Sunil, who is originally a resident of Bihar, handed over his four children to the Childline for settlement on Tuesday in the presence of Childline district coordinator Asish Panda and members.
As per orders of the District Welfare Committee, Sunil’s one-and-a-half-month-old daughter will be given to the Adoption Centre, Brajrajnagar and the other three children aged 4, 7 and 9 years will be given to the Child Care organisation, Belpahar, for their settlement.
