lawyers of the Orissa High Court on Monday boycotted courts and staged a rally here condemning the police role in delaying the investigations into the case in which the a Crime Branch woman officer has brought allegations against two Government Advocates.
The lawyers under the banner of the High Court Bar Association also staged a demonstration in front of the local lalbag police station and urged the police to file the final report in the case immediately after completing the investigations."The general body of the association will meet again on Tuesday afternoon to chalk out the next course of action," informed association secretary Umesh Chandra Beura, adding that the lawyers are likely to abstain from court activities on Tuesday too.
