The Keonjhar Truck Owners’ Association (KTOA) has threatened to stop transporting  of iron from Joda mining sector very soon. KTOA secretary Suryanarayan Kar( Dilu) said that in order to avoid a conflict  between two groups of truck owners and ensuring smooth transporting, a decision was taken in past in a meeting in presence of the Collector , Keonjhar that loading would be given to trucks of Keonjhar and Joda owners in ratio of 60 : 40.  But now it is alleged that trucks registered under  KTOA are not given loading in that ratio, he said.

Kar further alleged that there is discrimination in rate of transporting .Where as Joda trucks are given transporting rate fixed by district administration but Keonjhar trucks are paid less. It is further alleged that transporting tokens available from Keonjhar quota are given to trucks from outside districts, ignoring Keonjhar trucks..
