A 64-year-old man killed his 58-year-old first wife following a marital dispute.
Deceased Gurubari Singh was killed by her accused husband Kanda Singh of Angargadia under the Industrial police station.
According to police, Kanda had married to Gurubari over 30 years ago, but subsequently married to his paramour Barsha Singh. While there had been frequent quarrellings among the three due to marital dispute, on Sunday night over a petty issue the situation aggravated.
Gurubari Singh while cut private part of Kanda under a fit of rage, the latter showered blows and kicks resulting her death instantly.
Kanda was undergoing treatment at the DHH, Baleswar and would be arrested on the charge of torture and murder soon after discharged from the hospital, said police.
