Sanagaon under Narasinghpur block is one of the worst-affected villages as far as availability of drinking water is concerned.
The village is situated on a hillock, and getting drinking water during summer becomes a headache for the villagers. The villagers travel over a kilometre down the hillock to collect water. locals say that people of other areas usually decline to get their daughters married in this village as it does not get adequate water throughout the year to lead a normal life. Some say that one can get rice from any household of this village but not water. The district administration has been callous to their demands, alleged a villager and demanded for a permanent solution to the water problem.
