The main accused in the high-profile honey-trap and extortion racket, Archana Nag was produced in the Bhubaneswar District and Sessions Judge Court on Monday amid tight security.

Speaking to the mediapersons after her appearance in court, she said, “Where are the so-called victims? I was arbitrarily arrested and my family members are constantly under surveillance.”

When she was asked about the sources of the huge assets she has allegedly accumulated, she said, “I want everything should be probed. The truth will come out if the CBI investigates the case. I have not taken a single rupee from so-called victim film producer Akshay Parija.”

“Where is (another so-called victim) Shradhanjali now? Why she is hiding?” she further asked while being taken back to judicial custody.

Meanwhile, the ED appealed to the court seeking permission to take Archana on a 15-day remand. But the court allowed the investigating agency to take her on seven-day remand.

She is currently lodged at the Jharpada Special Jail in Bhubaneswar following a complaint by film producer Parija. According to the complaint, Archana demanded Rs 3 crore from Parija threatening him of making his objectionable videos and photographs with a woman public.
