Recounting his father OP Jindal’s relation with Bijubabu, Jindal said, “My father OP Jindal shared a very good relationship with Bijubabu and this relationship was instrumental in setting up the plant at Angul.”
He added, “As son of OP Jindal I am also trying my level best to contribute to support effort by Chief Minister Patnaik for industrialisation of the State.”
He also informed that the JSPl has invested about Rs 25,000 crore towards building a 6 MTPA integrated steel plant at Angul and a
10 MTPA pelletisation complex at Barbil. The steel company has generated about 25,000 direct and many more indirect employments in the State.
He also met Principal Secretary (Industry) Sanjeev Chopra and briefed him about progress of the project.
