The week-long Kalinga Baliyatra Mahotsav concluded here on Tuesday with local MlA and Excise Minster Damodar Rout and Health and Family Welfare Minister gracing the valedictory day.
Mahotsav committee chairman and district Collector Satya Kumar Mallick presided over the meeting. The guests highlighted the importance of Odia tradition and culture and urged the gathering to maintain the same in future.
Among others, Paradip Municipality chairman Basanta Kumar Biswal, executive officer Purna Chandra Mishra and Mahotsav Committee vice chairman and Paradip ADM Ramakrushna Sahoo also attended the valedictory function. The weeklong event was started on November 5.
