Vigilance sleuths arrested Sarbeswar Senapati, Executive Engineer-cum-Deputy Director of Water Resources (WR) Department, on the charge of possessing assets worth Rs 2,06,12,252 disproportionate to his known sources of income.Vigilance officers arrested Senapati on Thursday, a day after conducting simultaneous searches in his office room and houses at six places in Bhubaneswar and Baleswar.
Senapati has been sent to jail custody till November 6, 2019 and investigation was still in progress, said an official release.
