In the ongoing panchayat polls if any Government employee refuses to obey the orders and does not take part in the training programme for elections, strict disciplinary action would be taken. This warning has been issued by Ganjam district Collector Prem Chandra Choudhury.
In the first phase, warrant has been issued against five Government employees for flouting the Collector’s orders and skipping the training programme. They are Kabisuryanagar block, Baunsia’s Chayat High School PET Niranjan Gouda and same block’s Paika Jamuna PJ High School Senior Clerk Santosh Kumar Bisoyi, Beguniapada block, B Nuagaon Ballabh Nayak High School Junior Clerk Bishnu Prasad Nayak and Kukudakhandi block, Sinhala-based Yudhistir High School Hindi teacher Sanatan Panigrahi. Besides, warrant has been issued against another Hindi teacher Susant Kumar Bhanja. The police have been ordered to produce them in the Collector’s court on Saturday.
