A ward member locked the Grampanchayat office while the Sarpanch and other officials were inside protesting nonpayment of money for a project under CFC scheme of which he had executed the work order.
Laxman Gagarai locked the Batisuan GP office under Pallahara block and held a protest there. He alleged that executive officer (EO) Bankanidhi Singh and the Sarpanch were callous as his money was not released for constructing a community centre.
