A delegation of MLAs from western Odisha which came here to meet the Orissa High Court Chief Justice on Thursday to press for their demand to have a permanent Bench of the High Court in their locality could not meet the Chief Justice due to his prior engagement.
Sources in the High Court said that a seven-member delegation had come in the evening to meet Chief Justice KS Jhaveri. But the delegation of legislators could not meet the Chief Justice. The sources also said that the delegation then left for Bhubaneswar.
