A student of first year BTech of the VSSUT Burla on Thursday alleged ragging by his seniors.
The VSSUT that has a glorious history in technical education in the country is at times blamed for ragging. And it has taken place again.
The victim student has also uploaded the entire incident on website that has made the situation further serious.
But VSSUT Vice-Chancellor Dr Atal Choudhury, when contacted, said, “It is not at all a ragging. Rather, it was a fight between juniors and seniors.” The incident took place in Kirba road and not in a hostel or campus, he said.
