Even as three years have passed since the Vani Vihar-Acharya Vihar overbridge was opened, the underground road from Veer Surendra Sai (VSS) Nagar to Saheed Nagar is yet to be completed.
It might be mentioned here that after the opening of the Vani Vihar-Acharya Vihar over bridge on April 24, 2014, the people of 10 areas near the VSS Nagar have been facing problems.
A delegation of the Veer Surendra Sai Nagar Unayan Parishad on Tuesday met the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) officer Dharmanand Sadangi and submitted a memorandum demanding completion of the under-ground road within a month.
Parishad general secretary Dilip Dashsharma, Maheswar Biswal, Ketra Mohan Nayak and Sital Chandra Mohanty were present.
