Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Tuesday appealed to the people of Pipili to vote for peace and development in the April 17 by-election. Pradhan said there has been no peace in this area since last 40 years.
To attain Modi’s Mantra of ‘Sab ka satha-sabka bikassh-sabka biswas, reestablishment of peace in Pipili is essential, Pradhan said. Pradhan undertook a marathon campaign for BJP candidate Ashrit Pattanayak, starting from a road show from Uttar Square to Gudiapokhari. Pradhan stated that he has spoken DG of Police to maintain peace in area and also urged CEO to ensure peaceful and impartial election.
“Only when peace prevail in area, there would be development and progress; it will bring employment for people; poverty will be eradicated; agricultural produce of area would get market and famous Pipili applique works would get a boost,” Pradhan stated .
