Executive Officer-cum-VlW, Saheba Nayak, of Sharabadi gram panchayat under Sorada block in Ganjam district was on Friday arrested by Vigilance officials for demanding and accepting bribe. Nayak had demanded `5,000 from one Budhia Gouda of langalajholi village to recommend his application to Sorada block BDO for getting financial assistance of ` 20,000 under the NFBS relating to death of his elder brother Tutu.
