Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan expressed deep concern over the gas leak incident in Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh, which claimed at least 10 lives and left many ill on Thursday.
Taking to Twitter, Patnaik wished speedy recovery to those undergoing treatment. “My thoughts and prayers are with bereaved families in the hour of grief and pray for the speedy recovery of those who are hospitalised,” Patnaik tweeted.
Pradhan said the situation was being monitored and all assistance provided.
“I pray for the safety and wellbeing of people in Vizag,” he posted on his Twitter handle.
