On the occasion of the 77th Independence Day, the 31st annual celebration of the Vivekananda Youth Club at Siko village under Begunia block of Khordha district was held.
Chairman, Odisha Mo Pativar Arup Mohan Patnaik attended as the chief guest and inaugurated the programme.
BJD general secretary Pradeep Kumar Sahu, social worker Brajabandhu Subudhi attended as guests of honour while senior journalist Ramchandi Prasad Ransingh joined as keynote speaker.
Among others Kailas Chandra Sahu, Lipa Dallei, Bhaskar Chandra, Dali Singh Roy, Vidusmita Mangaraj, Sarpanches Santoshi Ray, Arat Chandra Majhi, Pramod Kumar Dallei, Biresh Kumar Rajguru, Leela Swain, Samiti member Anjali Sahu and social worker Arvind Roy attended.
Bhakti Bhushan presided over the event. Prizes were distributed among the winners in various competitions. Gopal Krishna Rautaray who successfully cleared the OAS exam was honoured.
