An awareness programme on coronavirus prevention was organised by the BMC at the Ward 11 office in the VSS Nagar area here on Tuesday.
Presiding over the meeting, BMC Joint-Commissioner Pramod Kumar Prushti urged all social organisations to provide support to people staying in isolations and all those returning from other States. Local MLA Sushant Kumar Rout requested all to help each other during the Covid crisis, rising about party lines. VSS Nagar Unnayan Parishad general secretary Dillip Dashsharma said all information relating to corona should be fair and there should be good coordination between the BMC and the social organisations.
Former Corporator Rashmita Mohanty and members of VSS Nagar Unnayan Parishad, Durgapuja Committee, Senior Citizens’ Committee and Mahila Samiti attended. Senior citizen Maheshwar Bishwal proposed a vote of thanks.
