The State Government on Friday appointed Vineel Krishna as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Smart City Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) following a minor reshuffle among IAS officers.
The 2005-batch IAS officer was also given the additional charge of Odisha Mining Corporation (OMC) Managing Director (MD).
Besides, 1990-batch officer Sanjeev Chopra was given the additional charge of OMC Chairman. He would continue as Principal Secretary Industries and Idco Chairman.
As per the notification, 2000-batch officer Akhila Bihari Ota was appointed as Central Division Revenue Divisional Commissioner (RDC).
Besides, 2002-batch officer SN Girish was appointed as Director, Special Projects and 2003-batch officer Dr Nitin Bhanudas Jawale was posted as Tourism Director while holding additional charge of OTDC Managing Director.
