Medical Superintendent of Veer Surendra Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (VIMSAR) at Burla Dr Sapan Kumar Murmu died of cardiac arrest on Thursday. He was 57.
Dr Murmu complained of chest pain in the morning, following which he was admitted to an ICU of the hospital. He was later declared clinically dead.
Notably, Dr Murmu, HoD of Paediatric Department of the hospital, had undergone a pacemaker surgery three months ago, reports said.
