Vigilance sleuths raided the houses and office simultaneously at Bhubaneswar and Rayagada and detected property worth Rs 1,14,08,486 of Rayagada ITDA Junior Engineer Manguli Charan Rout after allegations of disproportionate assets.
Rout’s residential flat, house, paternal house in Bhubaneswar and residence and office at Rayagada were simultaneously searched on May 3 last.
The properties detected include assets like costly household articles, one Honda City car, one Hero Honda motor cycle worth Rs 18,39,248, gold and silver ornaments worth Rs 1, 14, 400, deposit in different banks, SBI life Insurance and Bajaj Alianz to the tune of Rs 25,07,604 and hard cash of Rs 57,000.
Besides, immovable assets like one triple storied building at Dharma Vihar, Khandagiri, one flat at Unit-VI, Bhubaneswar worth Rs 68, 90, 234 were found during the search.
