Acting on the allegation of acquisition and possession of disproportionate assets, Vigilance sleuths on Thursday raided different houses of Ganjam Additional District Magistrate (ADM) Biswanath Sahu located at various locations in the State simultaneously. The Sambalpur division Vigilance sleuths raided the residential double-storied building at Bargarh town, Government residential quarter and office room at Chhatrapur in Ganjam district, parental house at his native Grinejel under Sohela police station and father-in-law’s house at Jaganath Nagar, Barpali in Bargarh district simultaneously.
During the search movable assets like, costly household articles, one Santro car, one Yamaha motor cycle, one scooty total worth Rs11,43,408, gold ornaments worth Rs1,47,500, deposit in different banks and investment in different Insurance Companies to the tune of Rs6,39,397 were detected. Immovable assests worth Rs43,18,000 were found.
