The Brahmapur Vigilance on Tuesday arrested and court-forwarded Durgasi Gangamma, wife of Chikiti-Balarampur Check Gate DlR peon Durgasi Narayan, for possessing disproportionate assets.
Earlier on Friday, the Vigilance sleuths had raided house of Narayan and found disproportionate assets of Rs94, 40,057.
During search, the sleuths also found that Narayan’s wife having no source of legal income possesses a double storied building costing about Rs58, 21,742 and other valuable assets.
She was forwarded to the Court of Special Judge, Vigilance, Brahmapur on Tuesday.
