The Sambalpur Vigilance wing filed cases against Dukhabandhu Sahu, ex-senior clerk-cum-in-charge of stock and store of Barkote block in Deogarh for misappropriating rice worth Rs 5, 64, 054.80 and against Badrama range officer under Kuchinda Division Ramesh Chandra Nanda for showing undue favour to Sanjeeb Kumar Dwibedy during an exam in the selection to post of forester. A case was also filed against Dwibedy. The cases are under investigation.
