Vigilance sleuths of Kendrapara led by DSP Surendranath Raiguru on Thursday conducted a search at the house of Janmejaya Mallick, the sub-Inspector of police, Motor Transport (PMT)Department and his father-in-law’s house at Andhara village under Pattamundai police limits on allegations of as allegation disproportionate of assets against him.
Raids were conducted at five places by two teams which found 240 grams of gold ornaments , cash of Rs 23,000 and a bike worth of Rs 91,000 along with some furniture, besides a bus ,owned in the name of his son.
His official quarter at Cuttack too was searched.
