The Marshaghai police on Thursday produced the victim minor girl, who slapped rape slur against her father, before the SDJM Court here to record her statement.
According to Additional Public Prosecutor Sanjay Kumar Jena, the victim girl recorded here statement under Section 164 of CrPC before SDJM Pritish Kumar Routray.
The court directed the Marshaghai police to leave the girl to stay at the Patalipanka -based lutheran Mahila Samiti (a short stay home) until the medical test of the girl was completed.
On Thursday, the police took the victim to the District Headquarters Hospital for medical examination, but as there was not a female gynaecologist, the victim was referred to the SCB Medical College Hospital at Cuttack, where the test would be conducted on Friday.
“I have requested the District Bar Association on Thursday to refuse to file bail application of my father before the Magistrate,” the victim stated. She also said that her mother was not cooperating with her.
