In the wake of the Odisha High Court striking out the name of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik from the petition filed by the Odisha Jan Morcha (OJM) in connection with the denial of permission to use MKCG Medical College Hospital ground, OJM chief Pyarimohan Mohapatra on Sunday said the OJM would produce material information before the court against the fresh denial of permission to use Brundaban High School ground in Hinjili Assembly constituency to hold the his outfit’s proposed last Mahasamavesh on March 22.

“The High Court has removed the name of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik from the petition citing that there is no documentary evidence against him. But here in the fresh denial of permission we have documentary evidence and it will be produced before the court within two-three days,” told Mohapatra to reporters here at a joining ceremony of workers.

Stating that the Morcha has postponed its proposed March 22 Mahasamavesh for the time being, Mohapatra informed, “The OJM had decided to hold its last Mahasamavesh at Brahmapur. But the administration at the behest of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik denied permission to use the MKCG field. Then we applied for the Brundaban High School field at Hinjili but it too was also denied.”

Mohapatra continued, “We will organise our last Mahasamavesh either at Brahmapur or at any other convenient place in Hinjili Assembly constituency at any cost. I have full faith on the court of law and I am sure justice will be done.”

He added the date for the next Mahasamavesh will be decided after April 29.
