The Jharsugada Vedanta management would establish two ultramodern pathology laboratory and diagnostic centres in Jharsuguda and laikera blocks in Jharsuguda district, as per a decision of an RPDAC meeting.
The meeting was held on Saturday at the district Collectorate wherein it was decided that these projects would be inaugurated by the end of August this year. The meeting was presided over by Collector Bibhuti Bhusan Patnaik.
Jharsuguda MlA Naba Kishore Das, who joined the meeting, said Vedanta should initiate construction work of the two projects on priority as per its Corporate Social Responsibility. “Keeping proper coordination with the concerned tehsildars, necessary steps would be taken for early identification of land for the projects,” said Das.
