An ultramodern monsoon preparation centre was inaugurated in the Vedanta Aluminium Company Ltd premises here on Friday.
Necessary gears and other appliances are available here in sufficient quantity to keep the smelter and power plant out of danger. The centre can gather data from all corners of the plant for utilisation in case of any emergency situation. With this arrangement, the company has strengthened the health, safety and environment aspects through ultramodern technology along with monitoring and reporting systems.
CEO CN Singh said the centre would create a new chapter in the field of safety arrangements of the plant.
Vedanta Fire Service partner Adpro Engineering and Fire Pvt Limited claimed that the company safety protocols are of highest standard and specifications.
