Vedanta has reposed its faith on the State Government in the supply of raw materials to run its alumina refinery at lanjigarh in Kalahandi district.
Briefing reporters after attending a high-level meeting presided over by Chief Secretary GC Pati at the State Secretariat here on Tuesday, Vedanta (Aluminium) CEO Abhijit Pati said the company is hopeful of receiving raw material for the refinery soon.
“The State Government said it is actively considering some supply for the unit. It is basically to reinstate the fact that we are suffering on account of raw material supply. We have been making this appeal to the Government and we have further revisited this appeal today,” Pati said.
