In a remarkable turn of events, farmers in Jharsuguda district are witnessing a profound transformation in their lives, thanks to Vedanta Aluminium's "Jeevika Samruddhi" project.

Not only has this project empowered the farming community, but it has also elevated the overall well-being of the region. The stories of 521 farmers, including the inspiring tales of Arjun Nayak and Naresh Patel, stand as vivid testaments to the project's resounding success.

Now in its third phase, the "Jeevika Samruddhi" project extends its nurturing embrace over more than 200 acres of cultivated land, where highly profitable agricultural practices are flourishing. This substantial expansion signifies a groundbreaking shift in the fortunes of local farmers, translating into a considerable boost in their annual incomes and a notable improvement in their quality of life.

Agriculture Officer of Kolabira block Surendra Delki accentuated the project's unwavering commitment to climate-compatible agriculture, holistic soil and water conservation, dependable irrigation facilities, and comprehensive farmer training programmes. These facets are the linchpin of the project's enduring triumph and long-term sustainability.
