God is the greatest scientist and what the Almighty has created, the science is searching them. Despite a massive search the science could hardly pierce into the mystery of god’s creation. The Veda and science are two sides of the same coin,” observed Swami Nischalanada Saraswati, Sankaracharya of Puri Gobardhan Peeth here while speaking in a symposium ‘ Veda and Science’ organized by ITR here.
The Sankaracharya of Puri further said whatever god has created is science and science has come from Mathematics and further the main source of mathematics is Veda .Whatever the achievements have been made by the human force have been derived from Veda which is existing from the time of immemorial.
ITR Director Dr Binay Das said, “It was great pride for us that personality of such stature as Swami Nischalananda Saraswati has stepped in the ITR campus. The scientists and men of my unit who are otherwise busy for the mission schedules were enlightened by hearing the talk of the seer. We feel fortunate that we could find him here, interact and take his blessings.”
Former MlA Pratap Sarangi, other dignitaries and members of Aditya Bahini were present on the occasion. later in the evening the Sankaracharya attended a discourse in the Gandhi Smruti Bhawan.
