The Veda Pathasala held a Sravani Upakarma ceremony at its premises at Diamond Tank Road here on Sunday in which its successful students chanted Veda making the atmosphere spiritually inspiring.
Well-known Veda speaker Dibakar Mohapatra wished all-round development of the students. After he declared the Pathasala open, students Satya, Sanjay, Kumud and Chaitanya chanted Veda that thrilled the audience for a moment while Ramasankar Satapathy recited a welcome song. Mahanta Chinmayanand Das Maharaj presided over the meeting.
Among others, Pathasala chief advisor Pramod Kumar Panda, advisors Simanchal Mohapatra and Brundaban Sabat, vice-president Pratap Chandra Routroy and secretary K Sreedhar Das and Pracharya Manoj Kumar Panigrahi were present. At the end, prizes were distributed to the successful students.
