People belonging to all sections of life held condolence meetings and paid tributes to former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee at different places in Keonjhar district on Friday.
They offered flowers at the portraits of Vajpayee and remembered his dedications in building the nation.

BJP district president Radhakanta Mahanta presided over a meeting held at the district office here. Senior leader Mohan Charan Majhi and others were present.
The meeting held at Champua was attended by Barbil Municipal Chairman Dilip Kumar Mishra, Joda BJP president RK Singh, Champua president RK Prahran, former Joda BJP president Ranjit Mahakud and Shreemanta Tripathy. Similarly, many people took out a rally and moved around the Joda town chanting slogans like ‘Atalji Amar Rahe’ and ‘Vande Mataram ‘. later a condolence meeting was held at Joda bus stand.
